US Virgin Islands 2024
Sailing out of American Yacht Harbor at Red Hook, we journeyed around St John on a Lagoon 420 enjoying amazing anchorages at Lavongo, Watermelon, Lamishur, Christmas Cove, and ultimately ending up at Red Hook. Our late season 8 day cruise focused on a detailed exploration of the many bays of St. John as well as a complete circumnavigation of this amazing island.
British Virgin Islands 2024
Sailing out of Hodge's Creek Marina on Tortola, we visited Virgin Gorda, Anegada, Brewers Bay, Cane Garden Bay, Jost Van Dyke, Norman, and Cooper on a Bali 4.4. We hit The Baths, opening night at Saba Rock, made the long run up to Anegada, visited Brewers Bay and Caine Garden Bay on Tortola, spent several days on JVD, visited the Loose Mongoose, Willie T's and Cooper Island.
Bahamas Crossing 2024
Sailing from Cape Canaveral on a 37' electric monohull to West End and then on to Nassau then back to Bimini and on to FT Lauderdale over 17 days. We enjoyed an amazing full moon night sail through the Little Bahama Bank just north of Grand Bahama Island while watching cruise ships all night. We made another 2 day and night run down to Nassau where we passed east of the Berry Islands and just west of the Abacos as we pulled into Nassau after dark. Cool views of the north shore and resorts at night on the way in. The next week we enjoyed a 2 day and night sail up through the Tongue of the Ocean (TOTO) and across the Great Bahama Bank making our way over to Bimini before crossing the gulf stream the next day to FLL. Coming through TOTO in the middle of the night was special.
